A recurring local news story about the conservation of the Pelican River Forest was accompanied by these beautiful aerial photos of the land and water. I contacted the photographer, Jay Brittain, to get permission to paint one particular shot he took of a bend in Hay Meadow Creek. He said yes! I added the kayak.
