I’ve been painting with palette knives lately. I love the feel and the look. I like that it encourages me to be more intentional about putting paint on the canvas. In the process, I often feel like I’m creating a mosaic with paint instead of tiles or shards of glass. I thought I’d try a painting that was suggestive of a stained glass window. For this painting, I was inspired by the shades of blue in a local church window.
