This is my second rough (preliminary) painting of a cow face overlaid on a quilt design. It’s getting closer to what I want — I’m pretty happy with it.
I still need to change a couple things, though. I want to get a different cow face, so I’ll have to drive around taking photos of pastured Holsteins. And I want to get the values (the range of darks and lights) of the three colors better aligned, so I’ll need to play around with a bunch of different shades and see what might work well.
